OUR 4TH OF JULY

Me, Jim and our silly little bean. We got to sit in the VIP section with Major General and Mrs. Dickerson, he is Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations East Coast. It was very nice we actually sat at tables and were served food. Apparently it really is all about who you know. It was a wonderful night with a cool breeze and great company.

Daddy with his little guys. Gabriel did pretty good with the fireworks this year. He got scared and tried to take off when the finale started but Dad scooped him up and brought him back. Daddy says he has constant situational awareness with his little guys.

THE FINALE !!!! It is such an honor to me to celebrate this holiday with our Marine Corps family. Only in the military can you find people from all over our country, all with different backgrounds coming together as a family. It is always difficult to be away from your family but our military family definately makes up for it. They even have an edge over our real family because they know first hand what it means to be a Marine Corps family. I feel such pride being around these amazing people and being at the side of the most amazing person that I know, MY HERO!!! Please continue to pray for our soldiers and their families.
